Fishers’ 2025 MLK Jr. Day celebration will offer residents several ways to give back to the community and celebrate the message of kindness from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., with a community wide food drive and volunteer opportunities throughout the city. Volunteers are needed to help collect food donations from the Fishers YMCA, Fishers Library, Fishers Art Center, Several HSE Schools, and Fishers Parks Department at the Hub & Spoke Building, and deliver them to the Memory Ventures building at 8766 East 96th Street. Volunteer must use their own vehicles and be able to lift heavy containers of food.
