Description

What is a Corporate Volunteer Program (CVP)?

A Corporate Volunteer Program (CVP) is defined as a planned and managed effort to motivate and enable corporate partners to engage employees to effectively serve community needs with the support of their employer.

Why are CVP programs important?

  • Improves corporate image and relations with stakeholders
  • Boosts employee morale, team building, loyalty, productivity, motivation and reduces absenteeism
  • Attracts new hires, especially Millennials and Gen Z
  • Expands reach, which leads to increased exposure and awareness.
  • Builds a stronger community by addressing nonprofit, community, and societal needs and issues
  • Illustrates organizational values in action

What is the Volunteer Fishers User Group Program?

The Volunteer Fishers platform is a complimentary web-based volunteer management tool for companies to manage employees’ volunteer opportunities and hours volunteered. The Volunteer Fishers platform makes it easy for companies to create and manage a landing page that provides resources and volunteer opportunities approved by the company within the Fishers community. Volunteer leadership has access to reports that allow them to share their impact within the community. While the Volunteer Fishers site is designed to create and support large group company volunteer opportunities, we also invite businesses to encourage their employees to utilize Volunteer Fishers to find, sign-up for, and participate in other individual volunteer opportunities.
