Indiana's premier waterfront race is back! The Geist Half Race Series returns for its 18th year on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Operated by the City of Fishers in partnership with Vision Events Management, this event features three race distances; a fun, all-ages after party; and stunning views of Geist Reservoir. The Geist Half Race Series includes a family-friendly 5K (3.1 miles), popular 10K race (6.2 miles), and the iconic half marathon (13.1 miles) where participants will travel across scenic bridges and along tree-covered pathways as they conquer the rolling hills of Geist. All races begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. The Geist Half Marathon is known around the region for its challenging and scenic course, making it the perfect tune up race before your fall marathon! All participants receive a race shirt, medal, timing bib, and access to the post-race party, including a complimentary drink (NA and alcoholic options available). VIP perks, including reserved race day parking and signature swag, are available for an additional cost.
