Come join this Corporate Blitz volunteer event to remove trash from Geist Reservoir. You will be joining other environmental stewards in this community event. The theme is simple: You can make a difference in our community and our water quality. All are welcome.
Who: Corporations interested in a corporate action day. General residents and other groups are also welcome! Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
About this event
Event Details:
- Breakfast and water is provided
- Sign-in on site the day of the event
- Wear sturdy shoes or bring waders
- Supplies and support services provided (gloves, trash bags, trash grabbers, dumpsters, front end loader, maps)
- Bring your own boat(s) or rent
- Marina boat rentals available at $214 per day discounted rate
- Contact the Marina at 317-849-8455 to reserve your discounted boat rental today
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Must be 25 or older to rent a boat
- Limited number of rental boats available
- Free boat launching for cleanup assistance
- If you already have a boat in the water on Geist, just collect trash and deliver it to the Geist Marina ramp for disposal from 9 am to 12 pm
- Only a limited number of walkable cleanup areas are available. We are encouraging participants to bring or rent a boat
