Volunteer with the Fishers Parks & Recreation Department as they host Boo Bash 2021 on Saturday, October 30th.  Volunteers are needed to assist goblins and ghouls as they navigate the Corn Maze and Trick or Treat around the vendor tents. 

Accessibility Volunteers will oversee our Sensory Quiet Zone and check out Sensory Bags while making an impact in helping to provide a comfortable and accessible space for those with sensory processing needs. Volunteers will interact with both individuals and families. Experience working with individuals who have special and/or sensory needs is a plus. Sensory Inclusion Certification with KultureCity is required and provided by the City.  KultureCity’s sensory inclusive program is designed to help guests with sensory needs (PTSD, autism, dementia, strokes, etc. just to name a few) feel welcomed. Combining training by professionals, sensory bags and signage, the program helps ensure that all guests are accepted and included regardless of the event they are attending. This program helps ensure the best guest experience for those with sensory needs hereby ensuring that everyone can attend and have fun. You can read more here: www.kulturecity.org

Must be 18+ and consent to a background check.

Volunteer t-shirts and a light meal with be provided. 

Join the fun on Saturday, October 30, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater! Boo Bash makes its return to the AMP with more than 50 local vendors offering safe trick-or-treating around the Fishers Municipal Complex, Teal Pumpkin Project booths providing non-food items for children with food allergies and special needs, a display of community-carved jack-o-lanterns, live music, food, games, and more! Wearing costumes is encouraged for all participants.
