Help welcome guests and performers to Blues Fest! We are seeking volunteers to assist with ADA and artist parking on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6.
Volunteer Shifts:
- Saturday, September 5 4:00–7:00 p.m.7:00–10:00 p.m.
- Sunday, September 6 4:00–7:00 p.m.7:00–10:00 p.m.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Volunteers will be stationed at the entrance to the ADA parking lot, which also serves as artist parking. This is an important role that helps ensure reserved parking remains available for guests with accessibility needs and Blues Fest performers.
Volunteers will:
- Greet vehicles as they arrive
- Check vehicles for appropriate ADA parking credentials
- Identify performers by their designated Blues Fest artist parking tag
- Direct approved vehicles into the parking area
- Help ensure only authorized vehicles enter the reserved lot
- Provide friendly assistance and basic directions as needed
This position is a great fit for volunteers who are friendly, attentive, and comfortable interacting with event guests and performers. Volunteers will remain stationed at the parking lot entrance during their shift.
