Blues Fest – City Hall Monitor Volunteer

Description

Be part of the excitement of Blues Fest in the Nickel Plate District while helping keep Fishers City Hall welcoming and safe for visitors! The City of Fishers is seeking volunteers to serve as City Hall Monitors during Blues Fest. Volunteers will be stationed inside City Hall to welcome visitors, help safeguard the art exhibits, and assist with keeping the building safe and orderly throughout the event.

Volunteer Shifts: Saturday, September 5 & Sunday, September 6:

  • 4:00–7:00 p.m. – 1 volunteer needed
  • 7:00–10:00 p.m. – 1 volunteer needed

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Monitor activity inside City Hall during the event
  • Help safeguard artwork and exhibits on display
  • Politely remind visitors not to touch artwork when necessary
  • Help maintain a welcoming, clean, and orderly environment
  • Provide basic directions, including restroom locations
  • Notify City staff of any concerns or issues that require assistance

This is a great volunteer opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with the community while experiencing the atmosphere of Blues Fest in the heart of the Nickel Plate Cultural District. Thank you for helping us provide a safe and welcoming City Hall experience for Blues Fest visitors!
