Join Fishers Parks for one of the most colorful events of the year! Glow in the Park returns to the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (NPD AMP) on Saturday, September 26, featuring a family-friendly glow celebration from 6–8 p.m., a changeover from 8–9 p.m., and a 21+ Glow Party from 9–11 p.m.
We're looking for 30 enthusiastic volunteers to help make this high-energy event a success.
Volunteers will assist with a variety of roles, including:
- Paint Mixing Crew – Mix glow paint used during the event. Volunteers must be able to lift 5-gallon buckets.
- Goggle Station – Distribute goggles to participants and sanitize them when returned.
- Highlighter Tent – Keep the highlighter station organized, stocked, and ready for participants.
- Water Inflatables – Monitor inflatable attractions during the family event, ensuring only one participant uses each inflatable at a time.
- General Float – Assist wherever needed, provide breaks for fellow volunteers, and help keep the event running smoothly.
Volunteer Shifts:
- 5:00–8:00 p.m. (Family Event)
- 5:30–8:00 p.m. (Water Inflatable Monitors only)
- 7:30–11:00 p.m. (21+ Event) Volunteers must be 18 years old or older
This is a messy event! Glow paint will be used throughout the evening, so all volunteers should wear clothing and shoes they don't mind getting paint on (volunteer t-shirts will be provided).
Volunteer perks:
- Snacks, drinks, and a meal will be provided
- A volunteer t-shirt will be provided
- The opportunity to be part of one of Fishers' most unique and exciting fall events while earning volunteer service hours.
Come help create a glowing experience for our community!
