Help support a clean and enjoyable experience for everyone at the Fishers Community Center Dog Park by volunteering at the Fishers Farmers Market!
The Fishers Community Center is seeking volunteers to assist with Dog Park DNA Swab registration on Saturday, August 1 and Saturday, August 22. Volunteers will welcome dog owners, provide general guidance throughout the registration process, and assist with participant check-in and data entry.
Volunteer Shifts (2 volunteers per shift):
- 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Greet and guide dog owners through the DNA swab registration process
- Answer general questions (training will be provided onsite)
- Assist with entering participant information into an iPad
- Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and positive experience for all attendees
Important Note: Dog owners will perform the DNA swabs on their own pets. Volunteers are there to provide guidance and support throughout the process—no direct handling of pets or DNA swabs is required.

- Bottled water will be provided.
- No prior experience is necessary—onsite training will be provided at the beginning of each shift.
