Pre-K Prom & Spring Formal Prep
Help us create a magical experience for our youngest residents! The City of Fishers is looking for one dedicated volunteer to assist with behind-the-scenes decor and activity preparation for our upcoming Pre-K Prom & Spring Formal. If you enjoy "unboxing" beautiful decor and have a knack for organization, we would love to have you!
Details & Scheduling
We are looking for one volunteer per shift on the following dates:
- Tuesday, March 24: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Wednesday, March 25: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Thursday, March 26: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Fishers Parks Department, Hub & Spoke Building, 8100 East 106th Street
Key Responsibilities
- Floral & Greenery Prep: Unboxing, opening, and detangling wisteria arrangements and decorative vines.
- Craft Preparation: Organizing and prepping "make and take" picture frames and various accessories for the event.
- Balloon Assembly: Using a power air compressor to inflate balloons for event displays.
- General Organization: Assisting staff with light assembly tasks to ensure the venue is ready for the "big night."
What We Provide
- Snacks & Drinks: We’ll keep you fueled with refreshments throughout your shift.
- Supplies: All tools (including the power compressor) and materials will be provided on-site.
