The City of Fishers Parks Department is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the crucial setup for the annual Jingle Bell Junction holiday celebration. This event transforms the Nickel Plate District into a festive winter wonderland featuring craft workshops, live music, holiday games, and visits with beloved characters.
Setup volunteers will work with the Fishers Parks team on tasks essential for transforming the event space. Tasks may include:
- Decorating: Setting up festive holiday lighting, banners, and general decorations throughout the venue
- Staging Activity Areas: Arranging tables, chairs, and materials for specific event stations (e.g., DIY Wrapping Paper station, Santa’s Workshop building area, and Reindeer Games)
- Logistics & Equipment: Unloading, organizing, and placing large items such as fire pits, igloos, signage, and audio/visual equipment
- General Organization: Assisting with site cleanup and ensuring all areas are prepped and ready for public attendance
- Moving Supplies: Carrying and organizing event supplies and inventory.
