Join the Fishers AgriPark volunteer team and help harvest produce for the animals at the Indianapolis Zoo on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. - Noon.
During our 2025 growing season, the partnership has already and will continue to result in thousands of pounds of produce grown locally in Fishers to support the Indianapolis Zoo. In coordination with staff at the zoo, farmers and staff at the AgriPark harvest kale and collard greens on a weekly basis. The animals have been receiving these greens since spring 2025. Many of the Indianapolis Zoo’s animals – including chimpanzees, giraffes, kangaroos, and the giant tortoises at one of the zoo’s newest exhibits – benefit from the produce grown on our farm as staple of their diet.
