Greeter at Fishers Health Department
- Location: Fishers Community Center
- Commitment: Minimum one shift per week
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 or older
Make a Difference in Your Community! The Fishers Health Department is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to serve as Greeters at our new location inside the Fishers Community Center. This is a meaningful opportunity to support public health efforts and connect with residents in a welcoming environment.
You'll be the first point of contact for visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Staffing the front desk during assigned shifts
- Welcoming and directing residents
- Assisting with general questions and appointment scheduling
- Supporting staff with light administrative tasks
Training Provided. All volunteers will receive training in:
- HIPAA compliance
- Narcan administration
- General orientation and role-specific guidance
Volunteer Commitment Due to the nature of this role, we ask volunteers to commit to at least one shift per week to ensure consistent support for our residents and staff.
