We welcome young and old alike, and it’s a great way for students to fulfill service hour requirements. Everyone has something to offer, and you are invited to join us with whatever time and God-given talents you wish to donate. We know that you will find it to be one of the most rewarding things you can do.
Volunteers are needed for the following opportunities:
Food Pantry 3001 E. 30th Street: We need lots of help at the Food Pantry repackaging produce and meat, sorting canned goods, manning the meat, produce, dairy and free stations, and loading groceries in cars on shopping days. We serve approximately 4,000 households each week in addition to delivering to 380 homebound neighbors each Wednesday.
Distribution Center 1201 E. Maryland Street: This is the hub that receives all the material donations from our community. We need volunteers to receive and sort/organize clothing, shoes, linens, and household donations. Also need volunteers to assist at the dock.
