Join the Indy Ignite crew for a day of high-energy fun as we host Pepper’s Winter Games! We are looking for 8 enthusiastic volunteers to help our Kids Club participants experience the thrill of the Winter Olympics—Indy style. Whether you’re a sports fan or just love working with kids, this is a great way to get involved with the team and enjoy some pro volleyball afterward.
Event Details Date:
- Sunday, February 15th
- Volunteer Shift: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM (Match starts at 3:00 PM)
- Location: Fishers Event Center, 11000 Stockdale Street, Fishers, Indiana
The "Winter Games" Stations Volunteers will either help facilitate the games or manage the lines to keep the energy moving! Activities include:
- Sock Speed Skating: Helping kids "glide" down the hall in their socks.
- Hockey Shootout: Managing the nets as kids take their best shots.
- DIY Medals: Assisting with the arts and crafts station where kids design their own gold medals.
- Slalom Skiing: Cheering kids on as they race through a pool-noodle obstacle course.
- Hover-Curling: Guiding kids as they slide air-hovering stones across the "ice."
