Volunteer Opportunity: Power Soccer Exhibition
Join us for an exciting afternoon of sports and community! We are looking for 8 enthusiastic volunteers to help host a Power Soccer Exhibition at the Fishers Community Center. Power Soccer is the first competitive team sport designed and developed specifically for people whose primary mobility is a power wheelchair.
This is a great chance to go behind the scenes of a fast-paced, inclusive sport and help make the event a success for players and fans alike.
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026
- Volunteer Shift: 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Event runs 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.)
- Location: Fishers Community Center
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
- Crowd Control & Engagement: Greet guests, assist with the Q&A by passing around a microphone, and manage the line for guests waiting to try out the sport after the exhibition.
- Setup (3:30 – 5:00 p.m.): Help lay out floor mats and arrange seating for the audience.
- Teardown (6:30 – 7:00 p.m.): Assist in clearing the floor mats and stacking chairs.
Requirements
- Ability to lift/move chairs and floor mats.
- A friendly, helpful attitude toward spectators and athletes.
- Comfortable interacting with the public and assisting with equipment.
