Fishers Farmers Market Crew

Join the heart of the community this season! We are looking for energetic, friendly volunteers to help the Fishers Farmers Market run smoothly. Whether you’re a morning owl who loves a workout or a social butterfly who enjoys working with kids, we have a spot for you.

General Event Details

  • Location: Nickle Plate District
  • Weather: This is a rain or shine event. Please dress for the weather!

Requirements: Ability to provide a friendly, welcoming experience for our residents and vendors.

Available Shifts & Roles

  • Setup & Teardown: 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
    • Heavy lifting required. Set up/take down tents and weights; place A-frame signs and barricades; arrange tables/chairs; organize swag bins.
  • Market Operations: 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM

    Assist with general setup; help vendors unload/move items; support the Parks tent and City Hall info desk; oversee food truck lots

  • Kid's Activity Lead: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM
    • Lead the kids' craft and activity area. Guide families through games/projects, hand out prizes, and give clear instructions to groups.


Physical Requirements & Expectations For Operations & Setup Roles:

  • Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks outdoors.
  • You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs to manage tents, weights, and signiage.
