Help preserve one of Fishers' beautiful natural spaces by giving the picnic tables at Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve a fresh new look!
Join us on Saturday, August 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. as we sand and stain picnic tables throughout the preserve. Volunteers will work together to prepare the tables by sanding rough surfaces and applying stain to help protect them from the elements.
No experience is necessary—we'll provide everything you need, including sanding blocks, stain, work gloves, and bottled water. Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or stained, along with closed-toe shoes.
This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of Fishers' treasured parks while enjoying time outdoors.
