Save Our Sports

Save Our Sports (SOS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization with the vision to help people develop and prosper in health, wellness, professionally, and personally through the journey of being a sports official. Our mission is to serve communities, families, and individuals through the support, recruitment, retention, and holistic development of sports officials. We promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. We remove barriers by subsidizing costs for registration, training, equipment, and supplies. We thoughtfully and intentionally pair members with passionate, mission-driven mentors to serve as role models, coaches, and advocates.

We are addressing the growing crisis of shortages of amateur sports officials by identifying, recruiting, training, supporting, and developing young, diverse sports officials. We educate and promote positive sportsmanship in sports, especially among adults involved. We produce high quality, high-performing sports officials for sporting events and contests. This more importantly translates to high quality, productive, positive impact individuals for our communities. The individuals, families, and communities positively impacted by our work will be more likely to be advocates for a healthy, edifying culture surrounding sports and beyond.
