Medical Mutts Service Dogs

As a leading authority in Medical Alert assistance dogs, Medical Mutts is dedicated to training rescue dogs as service dogs and promoting collaboration between dogs and people through science, education, and ethical training.

Our mission is to save dogs that have been surrendered and provide quality service dogs to those who suffer from a disability. You can help us unite people with trained service dogs in a powerful program that leads to greater independence. Every service dog placed required a team of caring people to help a rescued dog recover and learn all the skills they need to become a reliable medical assistance dog.

Volunteers welcome dogs into their homes, help our trainers in their day-to-day tasks, act as program ambassadors; help organize and plan fundraising campaigns and events, and support the mission in so many ways.
