Who We Are
Marilyn's Place was founded in 2018 by Glenn M. Conn and co-founded by Hilary Ricks. Realizing the need for a non-food pantry in the Hamilton County and surrounding areas, Mr. Conn and Ms. Ricks opened Marilyn's Place at its original location at 1106 S. 8th Street in Noblesville, IN. Our current location is 9810 E. 206th St, in Noblesville.
Our mission is to provide free and consistent access to weather, work, and school appropriate clothing, personal care and hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and other donated items- quality of life necessities- to financially insecure members of our community, in need of such assistance.
Our vision is to fulfill our stated mission in a way that affirms and supports the dignity and self-esteem of all our clients as intangible quality of life necessities. Our unique voucher system combines a modified retail setting with freedom of choice, designed to accomplish this vision.
What We Do
Marilyn's Place Non-Food Pantry has been designed to provide the commodities clients need, when they need them, in a way that's as close to a normal shopping experience as possible. But instead of cash, our clients pay with voucher points.
Our qualification policy is simple- request assistance, provide basic contact and demographic information, and sign the Participation Rules and Procedures Form. Marilyn's Place does not require any formal ID's or proof of income. And no person will ever be turned away, regardless of place of residence. We realize that asking for assistance is difficult; if you say you need help, we honor your word.
Voucher points are assigned without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual preference or any other personal characteristic or belief. Group accounts are not subject to any marital, cohabitation, blood relation or other such restrictions.
