What is a Corporate Volunteer Program (CVP)?

A Corporate Volunteer Program (CVP) is defined as a planned and managed effort to motivate and enable corporate partners to engage employees to effectively serve community needs with the support of their employer.

Why are CVP programs important?

Improves corporate image and relations with stakeholders  Boosts employee morale, team building, loyalty, productivity, motivation and reduces absenteeism  Attracts new hires, especially Millennials and Gen Z  Expands reach, which leads to increased exposure and awareness.  Builds a stronger community by addressing nonprofit, community, and societal needs and issues  Illustrates organizational values in action
