Volunteer: Fishers Adopt-A-Road Volunteer

The City of Fishers is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Indiana. Such a sudden explosion of growth may have hit other communities by storm, but we have been fortunate in Fishers to have the community leadership and vision to develop a charted course for our future.

At the heart of this vision is our commitment to protect our environment and preserve the neighborhood spirit and civic pride that remains the foundation of our community. To further ensure the quality of life we enjoy, the City of Fishers has enacted the Adopt-A-Road program to improve the environment and beautify our roadsides.

Established in 1992, the Adopt-A-Road program is an opportunity for individuals, community groups, and organizations to volunteer and take pride in the appearance of our community. At the same time, this allows the City to concentrate more of its resources on road maintenance and construction.

By giving our office 48-hour advanced notice, we will be able to provide you with all the necessary equipment needed to perform your pick-ups. The city will supply safety vests, gloves, and plastic trash bags. Upon your notification, we will remove the bags from the roadside, and any large or dangerous items that you/your organization flag.

If you/your organization are interested in participating in the Adopt-A-Road program, please CLICK HERE to fill out the Fishers Adopt-A-Road Agreement Application.

Thank you for your interest in the City of Fishers Adopt-A-Road program and your willingness to help maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the community in which we live and work. Please feel free to contact Amy Crell at (317)670-9437 if you have any questions.
